Tuesday February 17th, 7pm-8pm EST
Introduction of Starting with Babies course material. Red flags, positioning, fulcrums, treatment commentary, scheduling, treatment duration, and intake forms. Communicating with parents, consent and practical strategies to protect yourself within your legal and professional scope. Management of no-shows and late cancellations to reduce financial impact.
HOMEWORK: Complete Starting with Babies (1.5 hours) and Birth and Its Injuries (2.5 hours) course.
Tuesday March 24th, 7pm-8pm EST
Review of Birth and Its Injuries course material. Malpositions, malpresentations, medical interventions, head and shoulder injuries, and umbilical cord strain. The 'normal birth'. Reflexes necessary for passage down the birth canal. Infant reflex testing and strategies for referring to appropriate specialists when scope limitations arise.
HOMEWORK: Complete Treating the Infant Cranium (2.5 hours).
Wednesday April 15th, 7pm-8pm EST
Review of Treating the Infant Cranium course material. Common head shape problems and management of cranial dysfunction. Compensation patterns to facial and upper body structures. Understanding the role of helmet therapy. Treatment planning for severe head shape. Understanding delayed milestones due to misshapen heads. Incorporating paediatric physiotherapy for best outcomes.
HOMEWORK: Complete Tethered Oral Tissues course (3 hours). Do not proceed to the advanced tutorial video.
Thursday May 14th, 7pm-8pm EST
Review of Tethered Oral Tissues course material. Practical strategies needed for best assessment of oral function restrictions. Differential 'diagnosis' for fastest and most reliable targeting of primary dysfunction areas. Working in a circle-of-care with dentists, LCs, oro-myofunctional therapists. Understanding when to refer out. Non-surgical options for ankyloglossia. Management of young children with upper airway issues.
HOMEWORK: Complete Intra-Oral Treatment course (3 hours). Do not proceed to the advanced tutorial video.
Thursday June 11th, 7pm-8pm EST
Review of Intra-Oral Treatment course material. Understanding the palpatory experience and expectations of progress. Best timing for working inside the mouth. Treating the maxilla and palatine bones. Strategies for lack of progress and altering a treatment plan. Legal considerations of working inside the mouth. 'Risk-aware strategies' for safeguarding your practice. ~ No tutorial in July ~
HOMEWORK: Complete Infant Latch, Jaw & Tongue course (1.5 hours) and complete Advanced tutorial video from TOTS/I-O (1.5 hours).
Wednesday August 12th, 7pm-8pm EST
Review of Infant Latch, Jaw & Tongue course material. Interpretation of the dysfunctional pattern for best treatment plan. Infant feeding behaviours and review of 'differential (structural) diagnosis' for prompt resolution of feeding and latching disorders. Incorporating TOTS, Intra-Oral and Jaw mechanics together as one cohesive subject. Management of kids with cross-bite, crowded teeth, and upper airway dysfunction.

Tuesday September 15th, 7pm-8pm EST
Introduction to infant milestones, infant reflexes and finding evidence of retained reflexes. Following an infant through the first year of life, follow-up strategies, management of young children. Blending osteopathic treatment with retained reflex integration exercises and referrals. The role of paediatric physiotherapists occupational therapists or speech-language pathologists.
HOMEWORK: Complete the free module of Infant Reflexes: Development & Integration (0.5 hour).
Thursday October 22nd, 7pm-8pm EST
Treating kids over 2 years old. Common issues in young children needing osteopathic treatment. Assessment and treatment strategies for shy and reluctant little patients. Making kids feel safe and respected, and giving them control over their own bodies. Educating parents and recruiting parental involvement for difficult cases.

Wednesday November 25th, 7pm-8pm EST
Open forum. Students are encouraged to bring case studies, clinical questions, challenges, and success stories for group discussion. Certificates of completion for 40 hours are emailed by Nov 30th.
